Office Administrator


A well known company that provides on board  services to the cruise line and river boat industry has just set up a back office operation in Malta and is looking for an Office administrator.

Duties will be varied and will include:

  • Collating information so as to produce the payroll, calculating Social Security contributions, etc,
  • Updating personnel records and ensuring all the correct documents are in place so that the employee can board vessels
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Answering enquiries and queries both over the phone and by email
  • Taking care of the office condition organising maintenance and repairs
  • General office administration

The ideal applicant for this position will be organised and systematic in their approach to work.  Although full on the job training will be provided, office experience along with some knowledge of Accounts or payroll is  important as is a good working knowledge of Ms Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a creative mind, able to suggest improvements.
