Logistics/ Documentation Asst.


Our client is a company involved in sourcing, purchasing and supplying supermarkets internationally.  They require an additional person to join their Malta based Logistic Department as a Logistics / Documentation Assistant.  Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Receiving and checking documents from overseas suppliers such as packing lists, bills of lading, health certificates, etc., to ensure they comply with country of origin / destination
  • Requesting and then chasing suppliers for any amendments needed
  • Tracking consignments
  • Answering email, phone calls,  queries, etc.,
  • Doing general office administration, such as data inputting, filing, processing orders, etc.

This is a really good opportunity to work in an international environment where team work and flexibility are key.

Applicants should be bright, hard working and willing to learn.  Office experience preferably within logistics, shipping or supply chain would be ideal but not essential but a systematic approach to work is a must along with good computer skills
