Insurance Broker – Corporate and Advisory Division

Our client is the largest Insurance Broker in Malta,   they require an additional Broker to strengthen their Corporate and Advisory division on a fill time basis

In this role, you will be:

  • Servicing C&A clients in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Renewing policies and issuing new policies to strengthen and increase the
    department’s insurance portfolio, and ensuring that customers receive a good service
    as expected.
  • Sourcing C&A quotations from different insurance companies to get the best policy
    suited for the clients’ needs based on their demands and needs.
  • Building and maintaining business relationships and excellent communication with all
    stakeholders.
  • Notifying insurance companies of changes affecting insurance coverage as required
    by the client. Referring any matters which fall beyond the key responsibilities of this
    designation to one’s immediate superior.
  • Processing of transactional information in internal systems and compiling statistical
    data for reports as and when required.
  • Assisting the rest of the C&A Department with any duties which may rise from time to
    time.
  • Following up debtors on a regular basis.
  • Committing to a continuous professional learning and development.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Minimum of post-secondary level of education.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with MCAST Advanced Diploma in Insurance,
    CII qualification or University Degree.
  • At least 2/3 years experience in an insurance technical environment, especially on
    commercial risks is required.
  • Have good verbal and written skills and good interpersonal skills.
