Payroll Executive

Our client is a large and well established group of companies operating in diverse sectors, they require an experienced person to carry out the following:


  • Process accurate and timely wages & salaries
  • Upload payroll related payment files and issuing cheques
  • Liaise with subsidiary companies on staff movements related to payroll
  • Submit payroll and related government reports in a timely manner
  • Respond to payroll queries
  • Maintain and update payroll documentation
  • Assist in other HR related tasks when required


Candidate requirements:  

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous working experience in a high-volume payroll environment
  • Experience with Shireburn Indigo Payroll Software
  • Knowledge of Employment Law and relevant legal regulation
  • Human Resources experience is considered advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Can work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver with strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English
