Our client is a large and well established group of companies operating in diverse sectors, they require an experienced person to carry out the following:
Duties:
- Process accurate and timely wages & salaries
- Upload payroll related payment files and issuing cheques
- Liaise with subsidiary companies on staff movements related to payroll
- Submit payroll and related government reports in a timely manner
- Respond to payroll queries
- Maintain and update payroll documentation
- Assist in other HR related tasks when required
Candidate requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of previous working experience in a high-volume payroll environment
- Experience with Shireburn Indigo Payroll Software
- Knowledge of Employment Law and relevant legal regulation
- Human Resources experience is considered advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Can work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and deliver with strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English
