Receptionist - Dental Practice

Our client, a leading dental practice in the South of Malta require an experienced Receptionist / Admin Assistant

Duties will include:

- greeting patients with a smile upon arrival for their dental appointment

- general reception duties including receiving and making telephone calls, sending emails, giving appointments, etc

- taking payments and doing a reconciliation at end of shift

- making orders from dental suppliers

- maintaining an organised excel file with the orders made and monitoring that supplies are actually delivered

- receiving deliveries, checking that the correct ordered items have been delivered and marking the delivered items on the orders file

- maintaining and updating quotes from suppliers on an excel document

- working out the roster of our employees

- issuing of salaries

- monitoring of vacation leave and sick leave

The ideal applicant for this position will have a pleasant disposition and warm friendly personality so as to put patients at ease, Fluent English and Maltese and good Italian are essential as is the ability to work un-supervised.  A minimum of a grade 4 pass in English and Maltese and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office ( ECDL preferred) are also essential.  The ability to work flexible hours on a roster basis 40 hours per week to cover the opening hours which are from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 2.30 pm on Saturday is also needed
