Accounts Receivables Clerk

Our client is a leading catering contractor, they require an additional person for the Accounts department

Responsibilities will include:

  • Handling of takings and revenue reconciliation on a daily basis;
  • Handling of Cash involving reconciliations of cash in hand as well as accounting for transactions relating to cash (both receipts and payments);
  • Ensuring that debtors’ credit terms are maintained within the credit stipulated by the Company policies;
  • Keeping record of revenue related statistics;
  • Issuing invoices on a monthly basis to clients;
  • Issuing of reports.

Skills required:

  • A level standard of education (particularly with a good grade in Accountancy)
  • A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting packages
  • The ability to communicate in both English and Maltese
  • Needs to be a team player and be able to demonstrate a 'can do attitude' when faced with deadlines and other challenging situations
  • Be able to be flexible and multi-task
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar environment
  • AAT Diploma will be considered an asset
