Our client is a Dutch subsidiary of a Maltese Group of Companies. They require a Purchasing Assistant to provide administrative & procurement support to the Procurement Manager on day to day duties.
Duties will include :
- Sourcing of food products,
- Issue purchase analysis and reports,
- finding new suppliers,
- maintain records and follow up on existing & newsuppliers,
- Co-ordinate timely procurement and shipment of goods,
- inventory control,
- assist with other adhoc duties when required.
The successful candidate must be reliable, demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a hands on and flexible approach to work and a can do attitude. Excellent communication skills with a methodical and customer centric disposition are imperative. A minimum of an A’ level standard of education together with a good working knowledge of MsOffice and fluent English essential. This is an entry level job which offers lots of room for progression
