Required by a large Manufacturing company based in the South of Malta

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Sourcing, negotiating and recommending where applicable materials and products and overseeing the timeless purchasing process as needed
  • Coordinate and where applicable manages the vendors Managed inventory system
  • Coordinating deliveries with various suppliers
  • Ensuring that all systems includingpurchase orders are aupdted accordingly
  • Ensuring that all stock carried is truly needed
Educational and skill requirements

Applicants must be available for an immediate start and have:

  • An eýe for details and good communication skill
  • An MQF level qualifiaction or equivalent in Accounts, Business Studies, Economics or a certificate in a relevent  technical subject
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Word & Excel
  • Relevant previous experience in a purchasing or procurement function  ideally but not essentially in a production environment
